Positions include:

• Kennel Technician at the animal shelter

Duties:

• Disinfect and clean and thoroughly dry kennel, cages, bedding, toys, and bowl and litter pans daily.
• Maintain all animals in a clean, dry and comfortable manner.
• Clean and sanitize on a regular basis, all areas of the shelter, including floors, walls, equipment and other items as specified.
• Scoop each animal’s run and cage as needed and frequently.
• Insure each animal has proper food and water at all times.
• Groom and wash animals as needed.
• Monitor each animal’s physical condition and behavior frequently, throughout the day.
• Medicate animals under the direction of the Kennel Manager.
• Provide affection and socialization to all animals on a daily basis.
• Stock supplies as needed.
• Assist the Kennel Manager and the Receptionist/bookkeeper in paper work processing.
• Greet, escort and assist visitors looking to adopt animals.
• Support and work with the Adoption Counselor.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Store Clerk for the CVAS thrift stores

Duties:

• Operate a cash register.
• Sort clothing and other donations.
• Maintain clean, orderly store appearance.
• Assist customers.
• Price items for retail sale.
• Dust, sweep, clean the store and remove trash on a daily basis.
• Answer phones when needed.
• All other duties and assigned.
