The Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter sets up offsite adoptions throughout the area in an effort to showcase some of the wonderful animals we have available for adoption. Our offsites will typically include a few cats and dogs – depending on the amount of space we are given. Due to kennel regulations and shelter policies, we are unable to physically adopt any animals at the site. Interested adopters are asked to fill out an application, a check is completed and if they are able to take the animal home that day, staff will transport the animal back to the shelter where a pre-adoption checkup will be performed and the animal will be made ready to go home. Our offsites are a fun way to get the word out about the shelter and a chance for folks to see the sweet animals we have looking for loving homes.
