	Sells Franklin County dog licenses
	Offers public education programs through area schools and organizations
	Performs crematory services
	Participates in various fundraisers throughout the community
	Publishes a newsletter three times a year
	Sponsors an annual dog walk for the shelter
	Collects and recycles aluminum cans with proceeds benefitting the homeless animals
	Holds a holiday open house for hundreds of visitors

VETERINARY CARE

Through a special arrangement,  a veterinarian comes to the shelter every week to surgically spay or neuter each animal going up for adoption and to medically treat all animals as necessary. We're very proud to say that every animal up for adoption at CVAS has already been spayed and neutered.

CREMATION SERVICES

The Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter performs animal cremation services.  We understand the feelings of grief and loss when a beloved pet dies and we can help.  We can also provide an urn for the ashes of your friend.  Our cremation services are done with care and understanding.
