Thank you to Billy Blednick for celebrating his 9th birthday at Red Bridge Roller Rink and in lieu of presents, asking partygoers (the third-grade class at Corpus Christi School) to bring donations for the Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter.  The group collected dog and cat food, treats, kitty litter, toys, collars and leashes. Thank you all so much and Happy Birthday, Billy!!!

We have been providing humane services for animals in need, and assisting adoptable pets in a second chance of love and companionship at our current building, since 1995.

     Upcoming Events



 

  • Stop by and say hi to the CVAS folks at  Chambersfest from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 18 at our downtown Thrift Store.




 

  • Get your pooch washed at the CVAS Dog Wash and Ice Cream Social from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, August 22, at the shelter.
     
     

  • Don't miss our first annual DOG WALK on Sunday, September 20, at the Shippensburg Fair Grounds. Registration starts at 2 p.m. and the walk will kick off at 2:30. The event will include prizes, drawings and lots of fun!!
