The CVAS annual Christmas
Open House is not only one of our biggest fundraisers of the year, it's
also a chance for staff to say hello to four-legged friends who used to
be in our care. This year, we had a lot of fun, ate a lot of chocolatey,
"there goes my diet" goodies, and raised money for homeless pets.
Here's a look at this year's Open House:
Folks lined up early to see Santa and help the shelter.
We raffled off lots of goodies for visitors.
The line to see Santa was a bit lengthy.
Front office staff eagerly welcomed the holidays and guests.
Elvis made sure he got to come along to the Open House by snagging mom's purse. We were all so glad he could stop by for a visit. It certainly gave us a good chuckle to see him!
We saw some furry friends who were rescued by CVAS last January -- we were all so thrilled to see the little squirts look so happy and healthy!!
Santa eagerly awaited his furry friends for photos.
Who stole Santa's moustache????
Who is that bearded Santa?
CVAS staff and volunteers wish all of our supporters the happiest of holidays and a safe, prosperous New Year. We thank EVERYONE who donated and helped make the holiday season a little brighter for homeless pets. We couldn't continue to care for the four-legged souls in our kennels without the support we receive. Thank you all and happy holidays!!!
"So, welcome Christmas
bring your cheer. |
