TO FIND THE CURRENT CUMBERLAND VALLEY ANIMAL SHELTER:
From I-81 North or South: Take exit 14 (Wayne Avenue exit) and make a left at the exit ramp light (PA Route 316) towards Waynesboro. You will see Cracker Barrel and Bob Evans restaurants. As you leave town, Carter Lumber Yard will be on your right. The next road on the right after Carter Lumber is Country Road. Turn right onto Country Road and go about 1/4 mile. The shelter sits back on the right hand side just before the railroad crossing, in front of the Intermodal unit. If you need help along your journey, call us from your cell phone at (717) 263-5791.
TO FIND THE FUTURE CUMBERLAND VALLEY ANIMAL SHELTER:
DIRECTIONS FROM I-81. Take the Scotland Exit (# 20) and turn right onto PA Route 997. Go about four miles to the first traffic light (Sheetz will be on the right). Continue straight (north on 997) another mile to a five-point intersection. Go straight through the light (slight left curve) through Letterkenny Army Depot. Go straight through the next traffic light. At the fourth light (fire station on your left), turn right on Carbaugh Avenue. At the bottom of the hill, Letterkenny Chapel will be on your right, go straight through the four-way stop onto South Patrol Road and make a left into the long driveway at the fire hydrant.
DIRECTIONS FROM DOWNTOWN CHAMBERSBURG: Take US Route 30 West, through the square to the first traffic light. Turn right onto Franklin Street. Follow Franklin Street about five miles until you get to a traffic light. Turn left onto Carbaugh Avenue. At the bottom of the hill, Letterkenny Chapel will be on the right, go straight through the four-way stop onto South Patrol Road and make a left into the long driveway at the fire hydrant.
