CVAS is hosting Howl to Heal Dog Walk from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 28, at Hawthorne Arena at Wilson College. Registration is $5 for individuals and $20 per team. The walk will be a relay-style trek around the arena.

Participants are asked to get sponsors and raise money for the shelter's Second Chance Fund, which will help animals who come in needing special care.

The Second Chance Fund was near and dear to John's heart -- as were all homeless animals -- so this fundraiser will be a touching, poignant event that you're not going to want to miss.
